About Shannon:

Shannon is the Vice President of Communications on the Executive Board of the Women’s Referral Network of Montgomery County. As VP she is responsible for maintaining the WRN Montco website, newsletter and printed publications.

Shannon is the Owner of Walton Search, a leading provider of Recruitment/Sourcing and Business Consulting Services. Prior to starting Walton Search, Shannon worked as the Manager of the Healthcare staffing solutions practice for Discover Personnel Services.

In addition to recruitment sourcing solutions Shannon utilizes her years of excellence in sourcing techniques, organizational skills and background in art/design education for recruiter and small business training and services in sourcing, social media and website marketing. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and has worked in higher education at fine art colleges prior to recruiting. Shannon will be expanding her services as a photographer and in social media and website design services for small businesses in 2010.

Shannon is always exploring the newest technology trends and passionate about finding new ways to streamline the recruitment process to find candidates in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Shannon used this skills as a Grandmaster Sourcing Challenge winner for Sourcecon 2008 and first to solve the most recent 2010 SourceCon challenge. She will be a featured speaker at the annual Fordcye Forum in Las Vegas in June 2010. Shannon is actively involved in various organizations, associations and networks locally and nationally as a board member and chair of various committees.

Shannon currently resides in Montgomery County with her husband Don and Labrador Retriever Snoop.
