About Anna:
Anna Servati is the owner of Ciao Bella Mia Jewelry. She was born in Italy, grew up in Upstate New York and now lives in the Philadelphia, PA, area. After 10 years of working at Eastman Kodak Company and raising a family, she decided to combine her love of jewelry and creating things by hand to start designing her own creations. She’s been creating wearable art for 6 years. Anna loves the creative process and enjoys experimenting while she learns new techniques. She is inspired by nature, colors, patterns, shapes, places and history. The craftsmanship, innovative design and beautiful raw materials in every one of her one-of-a-kind or limited edition pieces makes a fabulous and often custom addition to any woman’s jewelry wardrobe.
Anna works with semi-precious stones, pearls, crystals and a variety of metals such as sterling silver and vermeil, along with some handmade pieces by other artists. She incorporates her personal style ranging from sweet, simple elegance to bold and beautiful and believes that she is bound by nothing but her power to interpret what she sees and feels. Jewelry design has endless possibilities.
Ciao Bella Mia offers free and discounted jewelry for hosting a home show where Anna enjoys working one on one with guests to create their own personal style. Jewelry repair, custom designs and redesigning of older jewelry pieces are also available.
Ciao Bella Mia designs are sold in local boutiques and spas and appeal to the discerning women with style and flair for today’s trends yet not ruled by them. Anna hopes that each piece she creates brings joy to the beholder for years to come.

Lots of great ladies again at this luncheon and some new faces have joined us!
Darla Pompilio of Your Tasks, Our Time was our featured speaker and organization was the topic – a topic many of us were in need of tips. She was full of great advice and even offered 2 prizes for lucky members to receive her services.
Listed below are some notes from her presentation.
General
• Organization most important factor in good work habits
• Majority of people can’t see their desks
• Increase productivity 1-2 hours a day by being organized
• Figuring $15/hour the cost of being unorganized (time spent looking for or re-doing things, etc) about $2400 a year wasted – PER employee
• 2 Key Areas to discuss today
o Papers/Filing
o Email
• To Determine the type of system you will use decide: What you need & how you think
• Practice using the system
• Take time to get used to it and MAKE IT A HABIT
Paper/Filing
o Block out time to sort/organize
o If it’s a large project break it down
o Start with the things that bug you the most
o Have supplies ready (bins, file folders…etc)
o Decide what works best for you – To do
Box
Folder
List
o Make 3 piles (do not think further than that in this step)
Keep
Recycle
Shred
o Keep pile will be sorted again too
To Do
Delegate
Defer (this will be sorted into your tickler file, an accordion file with 1-31 for days of the month)
Filing
o To Do file/box/list should be empty at the end of the day
o File – empty the file box/folder weekly
Email – Two Types
o Reference
This should be moved to appropriate file
o Action
Put on to do list or into Action folder
OR DO
o Block out specific time to tend to email – Do Not be on all day
o Keep file titles short and clear so that you remember what is where and what goes where
Over All Office/Organization Tips
• Have
o Good Chair
o Good Furniture
o Good Light (natural as much as possible)
• Only Active items you are working on should be ON your desk
• Files should be within reach
• Use Wireless or hide cords
• Put electronics (modem/routers) off desk and out of sight
• Be Patient, Flexible & Consistent when getting started
We had a number of new members and guests this month and many signed up for our new 1-2-1 program matching up members with one another for one on one meetings.
After a quick review and approval from the members on our 2011 By-laws we enjoyed an excellent lunch and networking while listening to a presentation by one of our most ulitized members, Dr. Claire DeFazio of Windsor Hill Chiropractic Center.
Following are some notes from Claire’s helpful presentation on nutrition. Thank you, Dr. Claire!!
• Finds in Chiropractic Care weight often helps to create/worsen the problem
• Even “fit” people may not get proper nutrition or eat well
• Not just the type of food you eat, but the time-frame you eat in
• High sugar causes inflammation (major cause of many diseases/ailments)& premature aging
• If you eat sugar when you first wake up you immedietly shut off the fat-burn you are already in
• Eat every 3 hours – fueling breaks! – to prevent bottoming out, dramatic insulin ups & downs & cravings
• Cravings mean you didn’t have a good fuel break (see list for good fuel break food)
• Manage the timing of eating will help fat burn, metabolism & keeping muscle mass
• Be Prepared – cut up veggies & fruit and have them readily available
• Glycemic Index – standard to know what raises blood sugre. High Glycemic index foods hold on to fat & increases weight gain
• Make changes NOW. Before you “need” it or before it gets hard.
• When you eat better food cravings will dramatically reduce
• Keep veggies as close to raw as possible. Lightly steam
• Eat one hour before a workout
• Eat within 30 minutes of waking up
• Snack (good stuff) in the evening
This month’s luncheon was so full of new networkers every seat was filled!
Susan Uphold had some good luck winning both the member raffle of a free acupuncture treatment from Andrea Deardorff of Inner Garden Acupuncture and $44 in our 50/50 raffle.
Exhibit tables were full of member items for display as well as a full table display including desserts from our luncheon sponsor, Genevieve Le Bel of Celebrate Today…the Superchick Way! And she definitely showed us some amazing examples of her superchick work. Genevieve’s creativity is matched by her enthusiasm and anyone meeting her could see she would bring a spark to any event. She left us with a list of 10 party planning tips and stomachs full of great treats. For more information check out her website or blog at www.celebrate2da.com
This month we were pleased to award Cathy Paretti of the Gallery School in Pottstown with a check for $3000 from funds raised during our Annual Halloween Party at Country Creek Winery. Cathy let us know that this money would go towards their scholarship fund where they already have a waitlist of children who cannot afford classes and are interested as so many schools in the area have cut funding for the arts. Many thanks again to all the WRN members and sponsors who made this year’s event a great success. For more information on the Gallery School visit www.galleryonhigh.com
Our speaker this month was Annie Stone of Mind Matters Coaching. Annie addressed some of the things that contribute to stress in our daily lives and how to go from feeling like we were “losing our minds” to finding it and using it wisely. She showed us how to be an expert at your own thoughts connecting with people, accomplishing goals, completing tasks and how to find overall joy in the journey. Annie showed us an example of her Intentional Creation profile which the 15 minute profile is available on our site with a free 20 minute follow up consultation by Annie. For more information about Annie visit her website at www.mindmatterscoaching.com
We hope everyone had a great time, made some valuable new connections and look forward to seeing you in December!
